ABSTRACT
As a visual artist, I have been exploring various mediums and techniques. The abstract painting process creates a stimulating dialogue between its surface and our subconscious that can be very loud and disconcerting. There is somehow a delightful element of surprise when the whole work reaches its final evolution.
URBAN*ITÉ
My “URBAN*ITÉ “paintings evolve from numerous photos but their incompleteness encourages me to recall what I remember was important about the scene and to relive my memories and emotions that I felt at the time. I transform my vision into bold and colourful paintings through my unique modern style of painting.
NATURE
On my canvas, infused by the memory and emotions that I felt at the scene, I try to recreate the mood using colours and textures that collide to emphasize my passion for its natural beauty. Each painting is a precious memory, breathed in and exhaled as art, sharing with others my love of nature.
PEOPLE
People have always been a most fascinating subject to explore. Their surroundings, their moods and just trying to put on canvas a parcel of what they are living at this specific captured moment is positively a stimulating challenge. I always enjoy my search for diverse techniques and styles illustrating life as a profound adventure.
COMMISSION
Having done a lot of exploration and studies in styles and mediums, one of my first passion was portrait painting. People and animal paintings especially. Here are a few of the commission works I have done.
